The NCPI Flooding Committee will meet on Friday, June 9, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at the Mission Valley Library, located at 2123 Fenton Pkwy, San Diego CA 92108.
The committee will conduct a review of the City’s proposed recommendations for a plan to resolve the flooding issue in Grantville. For over a year, the City and their consultants, with input from the NCPI Grantville Flooding Subcommittee, have been working on the “Grantville Trolley Station/Alvarado Creek Enhancement Study. Lisa Lind, the City’s Senior Planner for the Navajo Community and the consultants will present:
1) Refinements to the Preferred Alternative.
2) Discuss Flooding Subcommittee members’ comments and questions on the Draft Preferred Alternative
3) Review the Schedule for the Study

This will be an opportunity to comment on the proposed plan before it is put into its final form within the next two days.

The City of San Diego has issued a NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – APPEAL TO PLANNING COMMISSION regarding the proposed Living Green MMC on Rainier Avenue.
The City of San Diego Development Services Department has completed the initial review of a College Avenue project described as:
A Site Development Permit and Tentative Map for the subdivision of one existing vacant parcel into 26 single family residential lots and four homeowner association lots within environmentally sensitive lands located at the northeast corner of Interstate 8 and College Avenue in the Navajo Community Plan area within Council District 7.
