Speed limit on Wandermere Dr. to be changed

The City of San Diego sent the following letter to Allen Jones, President of Navajo Community Planners, announcing its intention to raise the speed limit on Wandermere Drive. More stop signs to go up in San Carlos neighborhood

Allen Jones, President of Navajo Community Planners Inc., has received a copy of a City of San Diego memorandum addressed to District 7 Councilmember Marti Emerald announcing the city’s intention to install stop signs at an intersection at Belle Glade Avenue, one block south of Hyde Park Drive.

Details are discussed in the memorandum which is reprinted below in Scribd format. If the small text is too difficult to read (particularly on small screens or smartphones), here is a link to the PDF version which will be considerably larger.

For those not familiar with this particular neighborhood, I added a Google map to help with orientation. The red circle shows the intersection involved. Please note the memorandum refers to Bella Glade Avenue several times; in fact it is Belle Glade Avenue.
